Introduction

Welcome to IT’s OK. This pilot programme developed from work that AfCE staff carried out with local groups using CD’s to allow information to be taken away from training sessions.

To register for this programme we ask that the key person should have very basic computer skills.

That is that they can turn on the machine, type and print a letter, and access the Internet.

To take full advantage of the programme the group must have:

A computer with a recognised “Office” type suite of programmes installed
Internet connection and an email account
A printer

If you are in South Yorkshire, you can request a mentoring visit.

We offer groups up to 2 hours on-site support with two aims in mind:

1.To sort out your problems and learn what they are

2. Based on that to make short “reminder videos” that you and other groups can access on the Internet.

If you are not in South Yorkshire but based elsewhere in the UK you may join our developing library of solutions on our web based remote help service.
