the needs of tenants and landlords in social housing.

Recent examples of this provision includes:

Fund raising training for tenants organisations in three parts

Part 1  -  Introduction to successful fundraising - Developing a Funding strategy - Identifying needs, objectives and sources - Developing a case for funding and an action plan.

An AfCE Workbook forms an important part of this training session.

Part 2 -  Applying for funding - A practical session building on the work completed in part 1  for small grant applications- includes preparation of an outline proposal, matching up funders’ aims with the proposal, the value of a mission statement, selecting and obtaining forms and guidelines understanding the forms and processes.

The end result is a completed small lottery funding application.

Part 3 -  Using the web as a funding resource - Held in a computer training centre and building on parts 1 and 2.  A practical day in using the Internet as a funding resource.

Some software is provided for the participant’s own use.
